Margaret had so very many friends.
Students from her school and university days, colleagues from her time in London undertaking research, fellow teachers and lecturers, family, former students and their parents, neighbours and of course cat and animal lovers.
Margaret cherished and nurtured friendships and would do anything to help and support a friend in need. Her generosity of spirit and practical support knew no bounds.
Keeping in touch was what she did best whether by phone, letter, visits and very recently she catapulted herself into the 21st century with WhatsApp and was able to enjoy pictures and videos from friends EVERYWHER.
Friendship was so important to Margaret. She will be missed by so many of us.
